Amazing Life!

I figured it had been a while since I had blogged, so here I go! Honestly, life hasn't been too eventful lately. Good news though! I am half way done with fundraising for my trip to Nicaragua this summer! The Lord has been providing and it's been really cool to be surrounded by so many people who are willing to support me out of the little that they have.

Anyways, lately I have been very challenged to trust that the Lord has a plan for my day to day life as well as the future. Something I wrote in my journal yesterday was that, "Sometimes the Lord says no to good things in our life- the reason being that it isn't the BEST thing. The thing that will draw us closer to Him or the thing that will bring Him the most glory." I guess you could say that is where my mind is right now. I'm really trying to remember that. The second I forget, life just seems very blah and pointless. I've been struggling to prioritize lately. School has become such a big focus that I have been forgetting about something that is FAR more important-my relationship with the Lord. I spent this past week getting back into the Word and really just digging deeper. Trusting. When I do those simple things, purpose flows back into my life.

So basically, all that is to say that the Lord has a plan for our lives which is the biggest blessing I can imagine. So much fear and anxiety can be erased if we truly believe that. When I am not seeking the Lord and His will for me, life seems meaningless. And honestly, my life is meaningless if I'm not following my Savior. But, my purpose is found in Him and His will for my life will become clear as it needs to be. Until then, I'll trust that God's plan is absolutely perfect! :)
