Beautiful Feet.

It's crazy. From June 1st until July 29th, I will be in Nicaragua. I have honestly been waiting for this moment since I left Nicaragua almost 2 years ago. I'll be honest, it is scary. Living in a third world country out of one suitcase is daunting, even for someone who isn't very high-maintenance. I don't really know much and the only things I really know at this point about where I'll be going and what I might be doing are from reading blogs of people who are currently in Nicaragua. One girl's blog post that I found very encouraging said this:

Our feet are dirty, filthy even, at the end of each day here in Nicaragua. But they are beautiful because they are His feet; we are His hands and feet. Our feet were created to walk with Him in a relationship of life and freedom. Our feet were created to dance with Him in this divine romance. Our feet were created to go and carry and spread His good news. Our teams’ feet will leave lasting footprints in the hearts and souls of whoever we meet. So, our team is “beautiful feet”.

Romans 10:14-15 says, "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!'"

What an encouragement! I am really not a fan of fundraising, I don't enjoy asking people for money. BUT, I do know that this is what God has called me to for this summer and I know that I can't do it alone. My daily prayer is that God will give people willing hearts to support me and my journey. The idea of trusting God with your finances is hard, I understand that. But God promises to bless us. As a dear friend told me, if you trust God with your salvation, why not trust Him with everything else? Please prayerfully consider supporting me. Below is information on what to do if you would like to support my journey!

For the "Program" you put Passport. There is also a button on this web page that has directions for sending your support in the mail if you would like.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! In the next few months, I definitely need prayer to trust God throughout this whole situation. There's so much to take care and money to earn, but I know that God will continue to work in my life in incredible ways. If you have any questions or want to talk more about this chapter of my life, PLEASE feel free to email me at fosterca@dukes.jmu.edu or Facebook message me or whatever. I would love to share more of my heart with you or give you more specific ways that you can be praying for me as they come about! I cannot wait to continue to share with everyone about what God is doing in my life!
