"Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You're near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise."

I Googled the definition of "blessings" and the first thing it said was "the act of one that blesses." I thought of it more like "the act of the One that blesses." God blesses us, He is the One. It's definitely been a rough few weeks, but this week was definitely a better week for me. I'm seeing God back in my life. I'm seeing His blessings in my life. Like my post about Monday, all of those things were little blessings. Or my Discipleship team who blesses me through their encouragement and their faith in God. Or my small group who never ceases to make me laugh and will always be there no matter what. Or C.L.A.M. who are some of my insanely amazing friends that I cherish so much and don't know what I would do without them. It's gonna be rough this summer being away from all of these people, these blessings, in my life. God has seriously given me everything I need. I absolutely believe the lyrics of Laura Story's song. There's been lots of rain and tears the past few weeks. Trials. Lack of sleep. But, they are truely God' mercies in disguise. God's compassion on me, His relief of all the bad in my life and everything that seems to go wrong. Blessings don't always come the way we expect to see them, but they are there because God is there and He promises to bless us.
Numbers 6:24-26 "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face to shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."
